Sometimes we wonder how our parents got together, right?
Especially us older folks ..... I'm not admittin to bein old, just older
Well, I saw a rendition of this song on another discussion so I thought I'd find the original version, I had no idea that Ricardo Montalbán could sing but then I remember him mostly from the movie the Wrath of Kahn and later the TV show Fantasy Island.

I started to like this song when I heard it in Elf, but my daughter and her boyfriend assure me that it's actually about rape. They showed me a video on Facebook, so I'm not sure anymore what to think. It is weird to see Khan as romantic.

In the 1940's it was deemed funny but I can see how in today's social setting it would be considered fairly bad.
