Deleting over 30k emails is frustrating and exhausting / myLot

My dad's email accumulated over 30k emails. He asked me to go through them and delete everything except the important emails. So, I can't just select all and do delete. I also have to go and unsubscribe from stuff so he doesn't get bombarded with these emails again. I am pretty sure there is stuff I've not unsubscribed from yet. I've been at for a while and can't take it anymore.

I am now down to around 14k emails. So, I have about half way to go. I feel like calling it quits but I'd rather finish everything now than have to deal with it later.

I have been doing the same thing with my own email lately, yes it is a huge task!

That's why with my own email I check it every day and delete anything that's junk or I don't need. And periodically I delete the SPAM folder. This way nothing huge accumulates. I do have to go through my email though to see what emails I no longer need and get rid of those. Good thing I don't have 30k to go through.

@lovebuglena I need to start doing that but it's so much more enjoyable being on Mylot, rather than checking emails. Lol.

@LovingMyBabies Good thing I have an iphone. When there are new emails there is a red number on the email icon. I hate those red numbers so always go into the email and look through stuff (and delete if necessary) to get rid of that red number.
