Christmas Beach Trip

Thr first weekend in December is normally spent with my dad's family in a big beach house. It was a great weekend full of great people & food. I am very glad to be back home though or I would gain 20 pounds staying there longer. I am positive I gained the 10 pounds back that I lost since August. I come from a really big family. This is a photo of 16 of the 23 grandkids & great grandkids that were there this weekend. We were missing 7 from the photo. All together we had 36 people ranging from 2-79 in age & 4 generations of us. There would have been 42 of us there & 5 generations of the rest of my siblings & nieces/nephew were there. I love each & everyone of them to bits. The one thing they have taught me is that blood doesn't make family since we are a heavily blended family & the only person I am biological related to there is my grandmother. They have made me feel more welcomed & like I belong through out the years then my own biological family on my mother's side. They were always horrible to me but my dad's family is loving & welcoming to all. I hope everyone had a great weekend.
