Good morning. This is hard for me to hear. TV star and renowned chef Mario Batali has been accused of habitually sexually harassing and inappropriately touching women as he ruled his food empire. Yes I am totally surprised to hear this. Not a day goes by some famous person is charge with sexually harassment. How does one handle this. How do you feel about this person.

@amadeo Them sexually harassing and assaulting others definitly ruins lives. Maybe all this mess being in the news constantly will make those people think before they do things like this.

I really liked him, but I only knew him from TV and cookbooks... maybe if I had worked with him, I'd feel differently. I expected better of him and am disappointed by the news.

Not a day goes by is right! I met him once at his restaurant in NYC. He was very pleasant to us and sent us a round of drinks and a dessert, gratis. He only put his arm around me, which was fine with me.

I wonder when all this will stop. There must be dozens and dozens of cases of 'inappropriate touching' by all sorts of people, not just celebrities.

I always like Mario and met him in person when I did volunteer work at the Pocono Raceway in the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. He was a very nice person.

I feel sad about it, I liked Batali. Also Garrison Keillor and Kevin Spacey. So sad. But I also agree with @andriaperry - I don't know what Batali did - exactly. Was it asking someone on a date? Making a crude joke? Staring down someone's top? Or was it worse? Touching? Not stopping when asked?
