Are You a Bath or Shower Person?

December 12, 2017 11:23am CST
Some people like to take bubble baths and relax with some bubbly; while, others, like to get invigorated, by taking a cold shower. So, which do you prefer? Taking baths or showers, and can you explain your preference?

Why is the opposite of a bath a 'cold' shower for you? I take warm showers.

It was simply an example of high contrast.. the 'cold' shower part. I could have stated 'warm' shower.. but, warm showers may be invigorating, however, it's a cold shower, that may be a wee bit more.. invigorating. Do you not agree? I mean, compared to taking a relaxing warm bubble bath, or.. even a warm shower. And then again.. who needs to freeze, taking a cold shower? Just kidding..

@MarleneAM I've never taken a cold shower in my life and don't intend to do so *ever*. I'd rather take no shower at all.

@MALUSE The 'coolest' one I'll ever take is a 'tepid' one and that's after I've been outside in the Texas heat sweating my butt off .

I prefer to have shower .it increases blood flow be more refreshing and water should be neither too cold or too hot.it should be medium it's better for skin.or else it would be more dry.

I prefer showers. I like taking warm showers. For me, it's more relaxing than a bath. Besides, I do have a hard time sitting in a bath for a long period of time.

#1 as a child we had to take 'baths' in a metal tub and #2; why would you want to have the removal of dirt, stains, whatever, come back on your body as the tub water is draining? Shower only for me and I'm in and out in 5 minutes @MarleneAM .

Without this coming out wrong :) I cannot remember the last time I had a bath, it has been a long time. For as long as I can remember I have been taking daily showers and it is that much easier as I go to my local leisure centre daily where I visit the gym and then have a swim afterwards and then it is a nice hot shower to follow. Maybe it is just laziness on my part, the effort of having to fill up the bath tub with hot water and just waiting and waiting. I suppose once you have started the end result is nice i.e. just soaking and playing with those bubbles! Showers are a quick and easy fix although I suppose the body does need a good bath every now and then, gives the body a chance to really soak and relax. Maybe that is why I experience body tension! Maybe my body is telling me, 'Andrew, it's time to stop jacking around! Get that bath filled!' Well, I will think on that. My showers have to be very hot, I cannot stand a cold shower. Thankfully the showers at my local pool are burning hot!

I like shower when I alone. But when I'm with girls, warm bath and some candles are our thing.
