I decided to treat a Highway Patrolman

Last night on our way home my Boyfriend asked if I wanted a Starbucks. Since it had been a long day, we hadn't had any lunch, and we had an early dinner...I said "of course!". We got to the Starbucks and there was a Highway Patrolman at the drive up window. I had an idea and I raced for the store praying they weren't busy. Fortunately they weren't. I handed the clerk my card and told her I wanted to pay for the patrolman's order. She told me it had already been paid for by the officer. I told her to refund his money and take his drink off my card..no arguments. She had to have the night manager handle the task, but the Highway Patrolman drove off with a wave and a huge smile on his face! (I felt good too!)
