Day five, What tattoos you have, and if they have meaning; and if you don't have any, what would you get and why I have zero tattoos. Mostly because I'm deathly afraid of needles and pain. But also because the only tattoos I'd ever even think of getting, would be ones that have to do with my mom, my brother, or my child[ren]. Which, I actually have thought many times about getting one that has to do with my daughter. But I if I did do that, I wouldn't want to be like all the other parents I know and get the hand or foot prints, or just their names. Nope. Instead, I would get a baby big bird holding a heart with my daughters nickname in it. Because she loved the baby big bird stuffy she had here as a baby; so much so that I took it to every visit I had with her, and I still have it now. .. I just don't have the guts to get a tattoo.. But maybe one day!

I have no tattoos but I don't object to one and I am not ruling out the possibility of getting one. My best friend just got a beautiful forget me not on the inside of her wrist and I love it. I have had henna ones before and enjoyed them.

@Courtlynn The henna ones of don't hurt to have applied and they last for a couple weeks so they are a nice alternative.

I don't have any tattoos and I just don't have the desire for any, never have. Plus I don't like needles or pain either.

Right, I just don't see the thrill or anything from them. But - as I said, I have a few exceptions. Like, if my mom or brother sadly pass away before me, then i'd possibly get ones for them. same with my daughter, or just a small one for her anyways.

@Courtlynn I have never been someone who's liked pain. Lol. I know I have 5 children but I didn't get pregnant with them for the labor part I assure you! That was just necessary to have and love my babies.

@LovingMyBabies Right! I'm all for having another kid, later, but not looking forward to the pain and needles involved. But they will be worth it in the end!

I only have one tattoo and it is really only a small skull on my left forearm. The skull has blood pouring from the top and this sounds weird I know but I have had this tattoo for years. I never ever thought that I would get a tattoo but I was travelling in London one day and I thought to myself, 'okay, why not?' I went into the tattoo shop and ask the guy to design something for me as I didn't know what I wanted. He asked me whether I had an interest and well I said to him that I was an enthusiastic horror movie fan and well I instantly knew from his facial expression that he already had something on his mind. I went away about half hour while he designed the tattoo and I was pleasantly surprised when I returned to the shop and said, 'yes, I'll have that!' The moment he touched my skin with that needle the instant, sudden pain was excruciating but I clenched my teeth and kept my mouth shut. After about thirty seconds the pain became bearable, just. So many years have passed and I have no regrets but I would not get another tattoo. I think I just got this one on a whim, a split second decision. I have it for life and I am okay with that. I didn't think so much about getting a tattoo but what I would say is it is a good idea to do some serious thinking about what you want, I didn't but I guess I was lucky in that I loved the final result. Good luck.

I have 8 tattoos and plan to get more. I love them! But if you don't have a tolerance for pain, then you probably wouldn't enjoy getting one.

I would love to have one on the inside of my wrist where it looks like my skin is open and I have metal inside like a robot. My biggest fear is getting a crappy tattoo, so until I can pay for the guys, I'll just wait.

I'm like you in the aspect that I don't have any tats because I'm not into needles or pain. And they don't really appeal to me either, so I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything.

No tattoos. But I would love to get one with a powerful symbolic meaning for me, like the stars or the moon, or maybe the yin-yang sign. I would love to do henna someday.

I love tattoos. I have three, and want more. I want two of mine jazzed up a bit, but until I know how, I'm holding off on it. I have quite a high pain tolerance so can cope with the pain. Some people don't suit tattoos, and some do. They're not for everyone.

Tattoos can look good on everyone, just depends what kind. Of tattoo and all that. Like shelves woill only look good on fit people. But a foot or wrist would loom good on anyone depending what it is
