I was a biker and will be a biker again I hope. This photo really makes me take to doing it again. But I have no bike. It's too expensive to me right now. Most of my money goes to my family, which is more important than just fulfilling my hobby.
A long time ago this road was still cobble-covered and had large potholes on it. How long haven't you done cycling? Will you return to this activity again?

@yanzalong I probably could, but I don't think it would be advisable for me to do so.

I agree. That's lonely road for the time being.

I love to ride a bicycle, but I'm very out of shape (I'm trying to get back in shape, though). Plus, in America we have problems with "distracted drivers." I don't know if being on the road on a bicycle with someone reading their Facebook posts is a good idea.
Good luck in getting a new bike. May I ask, how expensive are bicycles in your country? Here they can cost a lot of money, especially when you're getting a specific bike (like a racing bike), but you can also get a very reasonably-priced bike without elaborate "bells and whistles."

The reasonably good bikes range from US$40 - US$192.

I will eventually go back to biking. I am using the car only for long trips we need for shopping and running errands that a bike will not do the job. I once rode a bike almost daily, just for the fun of it.
If you get a bike, make sure it has good tires and brakes. I hope you are able to get a bike ASAP.

@yanzalong , I hope you will get a very nice bike. When something is difficult to attain, it is more meaningful once it is realized. Most people take things for granted, but for those who really appreciate the simpler things in life, there might be better odds at finding practical ways to attain the needful things in life.

No, I am way past my bicycle years. I have my scooter now and walk when I can. I look at people on bikes and think it is too bad but I fall enough and cannot afford to fall off a bike.

I am a biker but it is winter here so I haven't done for 3 months. I miss my bike. Hopefully I can get back to biking in the middle of March.

@yanzalong Here it is not. December - February is winter and March - May is spring.

@anikoonline I thought it was the same in all countries having four seasons.
