Did anyone else get the new Windows 10 Fall Creators Update? It has totally screwed up my computer, when I tried to roll back I couldn't and it said I had made another profile after it was downloaded. I found that out as all my pictures were gone on this (laptop). Thank goodness it wasn't my desktop as I haven't backed it up in awhile. As soon as I found my pics and documents were gone, I went and backed up my desktop it has over 8000 pics of all our family events. Guess there has been a few this has happened to going to their site for some ideas on how to fix it. Long story short, I found my pics under another profile here along with all my documents PDF's and such, however it wont allow me to sign into that profile. All very weird! Wish they would just stop with all these updates or allow us THE OWNERS of the computers to opt out. So back up your pics and good luck when this update comes your way.

There is a tool called recuva, you can use it to recover your lost pictures.

no it kept trying to get me to update to windows 10 and finally just stopped for a while now. cause I kept ignoring it. that's why I like the old way of photos, paper. because these are getting lost out in the blue yonder when we take them.

Mine just did it, with this new one it really just does it, I have looked for the setting and cant find it to stop updates til I say. I did get a choice with the new one that they want to do now, so I set it to do it this weekend. Really don't like Windows 10. Luckily hubby bought me an external drive so all pics in my desktop are now saved.
