Today while going for milk I noticed that the sandal I wore for my regular outside work are totally supple and worn out. The evaded color without any polish showed an ugly appearance. The buckle has become quite loose. The strap is coming out and not able to hold my heel intact. Moreover, they became outdated. This is pushing me go for another new pair.
I do not want to get it repaired...yes...no more repair...or recycle this. This is not good from health point of view also. This has served for more than one and a half year. So going for new one for the Christmas and New Year.
Did you change your Sandals for the Christmas and New Year?

@yugocean Oh..No. There is a lot of change. In summer the mercury touches about 49 deg. cel in some places. The nearby states too experience the effect.

@shivamani10 I too have sandals for short distance; in summar days I wear nice sandals for going out too.

I got two extra pair for different occasions. But, this sandal is just for going out casually. I use them whenever I go short distances. I think we should not use any shoe when the sole is not even. But, the sandals are not good. The material is though good, I can not use them any more until it fails to give service to any others. So I will donate it somewhere and go for another one. Sandals are needed for me.

My sandals were too worn out--the sole of one of them kept coming off at the toe even though I rubber cemented them twice. Since it's Fall here, now, it's time for shoes, anyway, and I've gotten new ones.

I do not wear sandals as they are not enough support on my feet.
But I do wear my shoes for as long as I can.
