Greed, greed, greed !

From my experiences, there is always that one person who will hoard their favourite food in a buffet queue. I always remember helping out my colleagues and mates at the university events or workplace events during lunchtime. The most popular item would always be the desserts. I am always peeved to see people stacking the dessert items on the places. Before half of the line has passed, the desserts are finished. I guess selfishness reigns supreme sometimes but it is terrible for the people at the end of the line. Sometimes, all that is left is fried rice or noodles while some person casually chomps down multiple chicken drumsticks on one plate with several other plates of different dishes alone. Have you guys experienced this ?

Well, too much of those foods will certainly give them diseases.

when something is free, people want to take advantage. when they're paying for it, they want to get the most for their money.

Yes, perhaps they do not get the chance to eat these foods often.

I have seen people really fill up their plates with more food than they can eat and than waste the food by not eating it.

Yes, it is wasteful and definitely not a good action to show others.

That is sad that people do that. I love desserts but hope I would never do that. They look very yummy in the picture and not fair to the ones behind them that they are not able to choose what they want for a dessert.

Yeah, some people take the foods in huge amounts like they are owed by the organizer.

When I was in younger years, I love eating different kinds of food. Now, I need to apply my self-control. It is more about keeping healthy concern.

Perhaps, but being selectively hungry does not make sense.

Yeah, some of them are pretty thick skinned, carrying a plate stacked like a mountain.

We do not have all you can eat buffets here, but when I visited some in the United States as soon as a food finished it was replaced.

Of course, greed is very rampant and common place. That is why I usually eat well before I attend some parties and social events.

Well, it is good to be prepared so that we do not go hungry if the food is not enough or finished by other people.
