My daughter, she writes better than me. Ha ha ha And she gets published on the national daily. I do hope you read the entirety, because I was as amazed of the keen observation, and the honesty that might put many government officials to shame.
The choir beautifully sings “Subhanallah,” followed by the Catholic hymn “His Majesty.” The ethereal music dies out, and is followed by a fast a cappella of the national anthem.

Great read.
I will be the first to say, and to my knowledge and observation, not the last one to say it, that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree. You are a good writer yourself.

Whoaaa. Thanks. Writing has become a hobby. Mylot somehow coerced me to think about the ordinary events and write these down.
But my daughter, she was editor-in-chief for the high school paper. I did encourage her to take up Journalism. Her likes are different though and I allowed her to pursue her preferences. She's had five Youngblood articles and three others about environment and public spaces. I am proud of her articles.

@eileenleyva Youngblood articles ain't nothing to scoff at. Did any of her articles made it to the books? If so, what editions?

@allen0187 None yet, I suppose. Her articles were published just this past year, I think. Barely has time to write. Workload punishing.
