computer online games! a foe or a friend?

for teachers, this is one of the reasons why students failed in their class. instead of entering to classroom for learning lessons, some of them will enter internet cafes during school hours.
but for students, it is only for fun and making more friends worldwide!

I would say it depends how they use it, it can be both a foe and a friend.
