Almost ready to make some jam.

The apricots are almost ripe. Today Leticia made some juice with the first apricots.
Probably next week I will have enough to make my Christmas jam.
I also have a liter of brandy to make a bottle of apricot brandy. Next week I will be very busy. Besides the cooking, I will have to bake two apricot cakes to take to Claudia´s house for Christmas.
Do you make (cook, sew or knit) present for Christmas? Lately I only cook.

Absolutely! I don´t much like canned apricots either. The skin is thick and the are a bit too bitter. Fresh ones are sweet.

We love to give jelly away, at Christmas time. This year, it's raspberry jelly. Apricot sounds wonderful!:)

@marguicha We have an over-abundance of raspberries, in August. Some of us make jelly, to keep them from being wasted.

I too like apricot jam. I have never made apricot jam. I only cook for Christmas.I have not baked apricot cakes. It sounds delicious, I will try baking apricot cake.
