Yesterday I was at my friend's house celebrating Hannuka and she, her husband and I were talking about Archie Bunker. I told them when I went to the Smithsonian I took a picture of his and Edith's chairs. I could not get the picture out so took a picture of the picture. Not sure if ok or not.
His beer can is sitting on the table next to his chair.

I read it as Jewish festival. I think you are all celebrating it in a grand style in view of Trump's announcement of his decision. I want to know more about Hannuka. pls.

Yes, I was thrilled about some of his announcement but it will take 4 years I heard for him to move it but I would still like to see those born in Jerusalem put on the passports. I found some basic information for you on Hannuka. Thank you for asking. The eight-day Jewish celebration known as Hanukkah or Chanukah commemorates the rededication during the second century B.C. of the Second Temple in Jerusalem, where according to legend Jews had risen up against their Greek-Syrian oppressors in the Maccabean Revolt. Hanukkah, which means “dedication” in Hebrew, begins on the 25th of Kislev on the Hebrew calendar and usually falls in November or December. Often called the Festival of Lights, the holiday is celebrated with the lighting of the menorah, traditional foods, games and gifts. I will add that we celebrate Hannuka for 8 days and the oil was suppose to burn for one day but lasted 8 and that is why we celebrate it 8 days. This has been a very good holiday for me this year. I have a CD on Hannuka songs and will play that for my cat and me and find a dreidl with is laser and it spins around and sings Hannuka songs in Hebrew to play for us.
