Baby GO outside! A Christmas song that needs to go away!

Seriously, I'm getting tired of listening to the Date-Rapiest Song In The History Of The World: BABY ITS COLD OUTSIDE
It is all about a woman who wants to leave the house/enclosure/wherever where she is with a man and he just keeps trying to convince her to stay by telling her that "it is cold outside". One more drink? One more kiss? Her response is always "the answer is NO". She just wants to LEAVE! The guy's response? You'll just freeze out there so you'd might as well stay here with me. 
I'll be the FIRST person to say that the Rod Stewart/Dolly Parton version of this song is amazing. That being said, the lyrics are very date rape-like and in the current climate not appropriate at all to be playing every 5 minutes on holiday channels. I'm not PC at all but I am kind of shocked that this song hasn't been removed from the playlists.

I never thought of this song until I heard in Elf. I loved the way they sang it together, but my daughter and her boyfriend told me recently it's a rape song. He put this on my facebook, showing the real truth of the song.
Safe to say that of all the classic holiday tunes, the “Baby It’s Cold Outside” duet is definitely the creepiest.

I've never listened to it in that manner. Interesting way to look at it. I'll have to check it out from that perspective.
