Buddhism in India is a very well accepted religion. Indian honor this religion with great respect. There is no Indian house which does not install a statue of Buddha in the altar. We all worship him as the God and Lord. We follow his principles of Non-violence and as far as possible never resort to violence. In spite of that, there are people that kill cows and buffalos for using them in their eatables. I really do not understand how come that people worshipping Lord Buddha resort to killing animals just for filling their stomachs.? This is also practically observed and accepted that the house which installs the Statue of Buddha in their altar and in any place of their house will have a quiet atmosphere and is free from all kinds of worries and quarrels. The statue shall be kept in the meditation posture. Even from the Feng Shui point of view, this is good for driving out the evil nature of the hearts and minds of the inmates. I experienced it personally on the advice of an elderly person who is adept in astrology and found a solution to all my worries. I am quite happy now. Did you experience any such thing in life?

Lord Buddha
Well, many thanks on raising this discussions. I am from Nepal where Buddha was born. We worship him and follow some of his rules, even though we are Hindu. I stopped consuming meat with the influence of Lord Buddha. I follow many others teachings of his. Most of the time what happens to most of the people is that they do one thing in practice and talks or try to show as if they follow the teachings of their lord ones. We have seen such things many times across east Asia and all round the world. But, it is now time to not go against the teachings of the ones we follow. Than you!
