My Friday is going good so far!

I love when a day is off to a good start. My son and I have worked hard today to catch up on school work today since he is behind from the laptop crashing. He had testing which is a few times a year and he did great today no crying or tantrums all day!
I managed to earn enough points on the Swagbucks team challenge that if my team wins I will win 100 Swagbucks points! We are ahead by a bit and the contest is just about over I believe so I think my teams going to win!
The ups man arrived and delivered a package (4 gifts inside for my kids I ordered) from Amazon and my sons new school provided laptop. We are going shopping today so I will drop off the old one since there isn’t a drop off location near me.
I have lived in this house for 14 years and noticed for the first time a light in the cellar. The bulb was blown and for the last 13 years I have used the spiral florescent lightbulbs the bulb was likely in there since when my grandfather lived here a few years before I moved in. I put a new bulb in and am thrilled with how much brighter that side of the cellar is now.

Glad you found out there was a light in the cellar and you were able to replace it. Sounds like a lovely Friday. Gifts, new laptop for your son and shopping later. Have a good weekend.

The laptop was provided by the school for us to use as long as he is enrolled there. Thankful my personal desktop was not the one that crashed as I haven’t saved anything to the external hard drive since I bought the computer two years ago.

My daughter came home from school nearl in years with happiness. Her and her cousin had searched for her fathers name online and found a photo of him from his obituary that she printed out. I never liked the picture but am glad it made her happy so it seems to have been a good day for all of us so far.

@Courtlynn I have cysts that bother me once a month or every few months. My right side is hurting today but I should be fine. I have to make cupcakes and go to a family Christmas party later tonight.

It comes on automatically when I turn on the switch which only one other light down there does that. So I used to have to go around pulling chains to turn on the other lights and using the flashlight on my phone to see in the darkest areas. This is in a great spot because it’s right where I keep my Christmas decorations, canned goods and a chest freezer.
