I had seen some Baby Boomers had called the songs from the Gen-Ex generation and the Millennial generation to be lewd and awful. I may defend some Milleneal songs though but I do like many Gen_Ex songs. As a 90's kid I resonate more to Gen-ex songs though technically I am a Millennial. I remember my parents brag how songs from their Era are so wholesome. I do listen to old songs from the Baby Boomers or Post war era. It is the songs my Parents grow up here. I know many Baby Boomers say Gen-Ex songs and Minneal songs are obscene but explain these songs to me. The first song I question is "Young Girl" It is the song I embedded on this discussion. It is basically a song about an Adult Man who is in love with an underage girl. There are those songs too Dancing Queen and Does your mother know- Both songs have hypersexual potrayals of under age girls. Don't Cry Joni by Conway Twitty- About a 15 year old girl who wants to marry 22 year old Jimmy. Diana by Paul Anka- About a little boy who have the hots for his baby sitter. (Lyrics goes like: I'm so young and you're so old) Loving You by Minnie Ripperton-They said it is a lullaby songs but it has the buzzword "making love" and she is orgasming in the song. Venus- About a guy who prays to the Goddess Venus to give him a little girl to thrill. Ticket to ride by the Beatles is about prostitutes. Hey Jude is about a guy advising his friend to put his girlfriend under his skin. I just realized many Baby Boomer songs are lewd. The only difference is they are more subtle and classy compared to the Millennial songs. Gen-Ex songs are kind of Lewd to but it is also subtle. Now Millennial songs talks about How Nicky Minaj's ass makes an Anaconda Big or How Charlie Puth and Megan Trainor does Kamasutra while playing Marvin Gaye and How Taylor Swift wants to Murder all her exes. Imagine how Lewd songs will be Post Millennial generation. Many Songs from 50's to 70's are actually Lewd but it is more double entendre.
