My last discussion had to do with a nice place to find a gift that didn't cost a whole lot of money.
Now here's where a person should be wary. Want to keep money in your pocket? Stay away from one of those cute postal stores.
It was convenient to mail the last of my Christmas Tales in one of those postal stores. I went in there, expecting to spend maybe 1.80 on mailing each envelope. It had cost me 1.40 at the post office. I expected a mark up cause the postal store is doing me a service.
Surprise!! The postal store wanted $2.83 to mail each envelope. NOT $1.40. No way. I took the envelopes back and drove over to the post office and got my cheaper postage on those envelopes.
So I wonder what to do with all that extra money? Its way more than pocket change.

I think it depends on how close it is. Here we have a few of those 10 minutes but then the post office is 35 minutes. So cost of gas conpared to convenients vosts.

@ricki_911 True. It just floored me to have the postage jacked up over a dollar compared to the post office.

That's double the price set by postal office. I'd rather go to the post office.

I've never been to one of those stores, but I know now I won't go either. I'd rather brave the postoffice.

The postal stores seem to price themselves out of the market.

Anyhow, you could save something. What do you do with that extra money.? Better invest it on some trading site.
