Saturday night was a blast. I joined a Christmas Party with my friends and I met three new people- all English teachers from the Philippines. We had Filipino food like humba (braised pork belly), giniling (minced pork with diced carrots and potatoes) and more. In fact I’m still full now. We played a few funny games like the ones we saw on TV. Boy, it’s really difficult when you’re on the spot. But it was fun, fun, fun! As for the exchanging gift tradition, I gave a portable room humidifier/diffuser which I think is perfect for winter. Kier, the new friend, got it and he said he’s actually planning to buy one for himself. So. On the other hand, I got this fluffy and huggable and cute Pooh pillow. Before the night ended, we turned off the lights and brought out the surprise birthday cake we bought for two people celebrating their birthdays in December and sang the happy birthday song as they blew the candles and made their wish. As I said it was a blast.
Anyway I saw this picture (above) on FB and I just want to share something funny to all of you. As for now, you can call me Super Ramen! Lol

@sol_cee 'Skeeter' made me upset, years back! I became a joke:( Birth month September, last food I ate 1/2 slice Swiss cheese, gluten-free blueberry muffin, 1/2 gluten-free glazed doughnut, and 1 cup of regular coffee with 1% milk.

abominable potatoes... well sounds like you had a great time and I wish I was your gift partner as sounds like he got the best deal. I need another dehumidifier my own self. lol

@sol_cee true. i need lotion during the colder months (dec to feb). do you turn them on while you're at home, then turn them off when you're out?
