Rumor has it that Trump is going to try to fire Mueller this week

I hope he does. That would be the final nail in his supremely inept political coffin. That would force Congress to finally start action to impeach him for obstruction of justice. This should be good.
The "rumor on the Hill" is the president could fire the special counsel before Christmas.
