In Giving We Receive

As the air grows colder, the warmer and cheerier it becomes to say hello to the marginalized, because they are visible, most would greet a Merry Christmas. Because it is actually a crime to give money to the beggars, I did prepare wafers and Curly Tops and Flat Tops chocolates to give away. The law says that the giver of coins would also be apprehended. I wouldn;t want Christmas in jail, would I? Besides, I was running out of coins, really. Giving is actually a delightful exercise. Nothing compares to the gleeful faces of the recipients. And my story goes early this morning, when I fetched my daughter at a mall, after her overnight party, she handed me an envelope that says A Gift For You. My mouth went agape with . Who would not love Gift Certificates. My point exactly, when you give, you receive a hundredfold.

Bhem, here's Mt. Carmel's altar, where I prayed for you. I discovered long ago that God couldn't say no to our fervent prayers. My love and prayers for you this Christmas.

Yup Yup. Done with giving just before Noche Buena. It is Christmas Day now. Merry Christmas. The street wishers will be coming in a while. Chocolates and wafers for today's merry giving. After Mass, I will splurge.. My clutter needs racks and consoles. Or may be not. Just dispose the clutter.

Yes, as the saying goes, "it is more blessed to give than to receive".
