The Horse gets denied, throws a tantrum, and get kicked off of MyLot

It's been good knowing everyone here, but I think I'm a goner. I had everything planned for tonight. I ate a bit of lox for breakfast, had palak paneer (creamed spinach) for lunch, and was ready for my dinner of tom kha gai (coconut chicken soup) and white rice from my local Thai restaurant. I called my restaurant, starving, and learned that they are closed today. I had a fit. I started chopping up garlic cloves, white onions, and soreno pepper, just to keep myself from jumping off of a bridge. I added the above to the remaining half of my Trader Joe's kun pao chicken and had a delicious meal. But then I posted about it on MyLot. It was then that I realized that I had posted yet another recipe post. It has been fun posting here, and I am thankful to all who have engaged in dialogue (I will not say "discourse") with me. I accept my fate. Adios, amigos.

I'll have to look for them. I'm often frustrated with life. But I tend to write about...um...I dunno.

@TheHorse We should make a new rule, never write when mad. Then what is the point that is a stupid rule. Screw that rule. Carry on Horse Carry on Mylot. Especially write when you are mad at the world. For one we get to laugh at you and 2 its stops people from shooting up the place.

Heh. I really do like adding stuff to my Trader Joe's Kun Pao Chicken. And the rest of the story IS true! I was SO frustrated when I called my Thai place and they were closed.

This isn't really a "recipe" post, more of a discussion around food

I see that you do not remove the green sprout from the garlic before chopping, do it, it makes the garlic more digestible.

@TheHorse I cut the garlic clove in half and remove it, before chopping of course.

The bit of green in the middle? Wouldn't that make chopping garlic more of an ordeal?

It looks like a discussion but around food. It's not a recipe copied and pasted from a cook book....it's. It a lest of ingredients. I don't think they are going to delete the post or the discussion. Some person might object....but I think the problem is their's....not yours.

Nowy I'm leaving MyLot. The creamed spinach was great, as was the kun pao chicken, but I'm still yearning for some Tom Kha Gai. We'll see if my Thai restaurant is open this evening.

Is this one of those get down on the floor, screaming and kicking, tantrums, or a mental tantrum in your head? I've always wanted to try the floor one, and maybe we shouldn't have stopped having those after the age of two, since they might release a great deal of stress.
