And the doctor said...

that I would have to go to a procedure, just in case. The doctor will take away one of my toe nails and do some biopsies just in case. The "just in case" part is nothing to worry much, she said. But as I have had skin cancers before, it is better to check it all. I will do it after my vacations in San Fernando and then after the doctors vacations During January and maybe the first week of February. If I have had this for months, another month won´t do much harm. As for the rest of the thingies I showed her, she did not find anything to worry about them. Still she will take biopsies of all of them when she takes my nail out. And today she burnt me with liquid nitrogen on one of my legs. But I am safe and sound at home now and VERY sleepy. See you after my nap

I keep meaning to go and have a check for skin cancers not that I've noticed anything strange on my skin.

The first one I had was a piece of skin of a different color that appeared in my head when my hair fell off due to chemotherapy.

Was her burning your leg an accident or a procedure? Seems the toenail issue would likely be nail fungus.

@marguicha lol well I am very glad to hear she didn't accidentally drop it on you! As far as the doctor checking the toenail then it is better to be safe then sorry.

A procedure. And the toenail is not fungus. It is an hematoma that does not end when the nail grows. The doctor said she´d do nothing if it wasn´t for my cancer history.

It will all come out in the wash Margi. Could it be a fungus thing? Have been away from here for a few days so have not read all.

No. She said it was not fungus. It is an hematoma of sorts, but she wants to check it is nothing else.

@marguicha You might have banged it up without realizing it like when I shut my finger in the car door but I howled like crazy that really did hurt.

@marguicha I had a wonderful doctor, who was like that, also. She wasn't able to continue practicing medicine, for some reason. Now, I have a new doctor and I don't know if she's the same way, time will bear this out.
