Has your perception ever been wrong?

Mine has, I confess I rehearsed a story of what I thought was transmitted to my brain, yet I was totally wrong. Trying to unravel the maze of truth was unsettling and the other person got huff, because of the innuendos of strife. Saying you misunderstood is safe and sorry is release. Have you ever perceived wrong at the cost of others? What steps have you taken to see and hear clearly from the start?

Our perception is base on past experiences. We tend to stereotype people and very often our first impressions are wrong. As the saying goes, "Never judge a book by it's cover".

That is true. A learned behavior that needs to be regulated to an open understanding. Thank you, I enjoyed your comment.

I did once thought for example, that most of people are honest but that sadly just blown out at my face, and strangely enough I did try to give "second chance" to these kind of people but in the end it didn't help.

Well as long as you practice being honest is what truly matters. You don't give an account for those who aren't. I always want to practice honesty, even when my heart doesn't want me too.. I can't afford to reap the consequences of knowing to do right, but choosing to do wrong. I went to do some business at the currency exchange to pay a bill of like $150 the agent was talking to another agent and she gave me the $150 back. She kept on communicating with the agent and wondered why I was still there. So I explained to her that she gave me the money back and she was so overwhelmed that she told the agent she was communicating with and thank me constantly for being honest. Honesty is the best policy hands down! Thank you for your thoughts.
