~The Truth No One Wants You To Know~

There have been things lately that have opened my eyes in a different perspective than I have ever seen before. I really have to share...You can't take away the joy that you did not give me! In church through out my life we have been taught things a certain way. We were taught that we are sinners and Jesus died for our sins. To the world that makes it seem as if we are okay with sinning because we are forgiven anyway...NOT the truth-Not for people who really love Jesus anyway! What we never ever hear about at church is about the carnal mind and the spiritual mind. This got me thinking-why not? For now though, let me explain what I have learned in the easiest way I know how... Picture this...you have a spouse or you are in a relationship with someone you love so much! Would you want to cheat on them? No, right? (I would hope not! ) Why not? Because you love them too much to even think that way-you just want that one person for the rest of your life and you don't want to ever hurt them. You want them to be happy and you want to do right by them. Correct? THAT'S how our relationship with God is supposed to be! It's not just that Jesus died for our sins. It's that we became NEW when we were born again-we now live in the spiritual mindset-we don't WANT to sin. We don't want to live in the carnal mind anymore because we love Him so much! We are sinners-that's part of being human but that is NOT an excuse to do whatever we want. We are supposed to walk like Jesus-we are supposed to show His love to others. Jesus is our example, be an example of Him and they will come. If the world sees our LOVE, JOY and PEACE they will want to know who we have in our hearts!!! Isn't that amazing? Another thing...just because we are going through hard times does NOT mean God is angry, annoyed, or disappointed in us. Only satan comes to kill, steal and destroy! NOT GOD! If things are happening that aren't good in your life it could mean we CHOSE the wrong path to take because we didn't wait for God's timing and tried doing things ourselves. It could mean we NEED to get closer to the Lord since satan is trying to tear us down. It could mean our faith is being tested to make sure we are in the spiritual mindset! One last thing ALL Christians are called to tell others about Jesus and what He has done for us. We do not have to be Pastor's, & we are not told to bring people to church because we ARE the church, we are told in the Bible to bring others to JESUS by being an example of Him! Amazing things I have learned recently and I felt it in my heart to share. Someone needs to read this-only God knows who. Remember God loves you!!

I think much of it has to do with believing in god wanting you to do somethings some way. Ultimately, it is us human beings who need to face that if I hit you, you or somebody who loves you will hit me back, or another person who is jealous of me will hit me, and justify such hitting saying, well, you did it to her, so you had it coming. If we don't want to be hurt or hit, we shouldn't be hurting or hitting. As simple as that. Try explaining that to people physically or financially stronger. You know that will be brushed aside. Hence it becomes god's wish. In principle, if we constantly need god to be monitoring us, we are faulty piece. If we can figure this out, and live our lives without hurting others, we are closer to perfection, and that speaks volumes about the creator.

@vandana7 Walking in the example of Jesus we should not hit back but instead turn our cheeks. Yes, we should be living in the example of Christ and this world would be a much better place. Without God we would all be lost.

Also, sometimes these lessons are taught but people are not listening, because it requires work, or we must change. With God we WANT to change, to be faithful, etc. It is good you are a listening and aware Christian.

@Gardengerty My ears are wide open to the truth of God's word. I have never been to a church where these things are taught and I have been to many churches-very sad.

Aww that is some good points made there. Its confusing though when thinking about God's timing. In what way could I do anything without God's timing, I was not aware that I could do anything without God's will.

@Anela150 We have free will, God allows us to choose.

@Angela150 You pray about it and ask God. He will steer you in the right direction if you listen. For example...say you get a job offer and you take it-without praying about it and without waiting on the Lord to provide. God lets you take the job-even though He had something better for you. You end up being miserable at that job and realize it was NOT the right one for you. You eventually quit that job and the RIGHT job God wanted to give you opens up to you. You will eventually get to where you need to be but you go through some heart ache and misery first because you did not listen or pay attention to God's will-you chose your own.

@LovingMyBabies I know but how do you know what option to choose in trivial matters where it is not obvious whether something is right or wrong?

I don't know what you mean by "we are not taught". Maybe they don't teach such things in modern churches. I was blessed to grow up in an old fashioned church taught by an old fashioned preacher. Pastors nowadays, I think, leave out so much because they're afraid of "stepping on toes" or "having people leave the church" or they just flat out cater to people with "itching ears" ! ;( Since my pastor retired, I have not been able to find a church where I am satisfied with the preaching.

@xstitcher Not in any church I have been to since I was 18 years old and I am now 33. Sad, but true. I think you are correct-they are afraid of stepping on toes. The reason they leave out we are the church and we are supposed to be spreading His word in my opinion, is fear of losing money because people would stop believing in just invite people to church-they would BE the church!

Thanks for sharing the Gospel. Jesus is coming back soon and people who don't know Him need to repent and come to him. He tarries as long as He does because he wants more and more to come to Him. He doesn't want anyone to eternally perish.

I have a very deep relationship with God. It's not something I talk about. It's between me and God and it first started when I was around 10 years old. Yes, even then... God knows every part of me. My hopes, dreams, fears, desires, strengths, weaknesses, needs. I walk with God and talk with God in my own way on a daily basis. It helps me to be the person I am and hopeful either's relationships with God will help them as well.

I think Satan comes to corrupt and enough to take your soul for torment and his enjoyment. We should happy what Jesus Christ has done for us. Well, thank you for preaching.
