Song Review: I have this Hope

Music is more than an art. It is therapy. It sets the mood, changes the attitude, influences the mind, and inspires the soul. Music is powerful. This is why we should be choosy in the lyrics we allow into our hearts and minds. At this point in my life, I need the healing and comfort that music can facilitate. One song that has been so important to me, lately, is performed by Tenth Avenue North and is entitled, "I Have This Hope". Life steals our joy and breaks our hearts sometimes. We want answers and don't always get them in this life, but clinging to Christ and the hope that only he can give offers a little stability and peace in the storm. Some of the lyrics are as follows: "I don't want to live in fear I want to trust that You are near Trust Your grace can be seen In both triumph and tragedy I have this hope In the depth of my soul In the flood or the fire You're with me and You won't let go"
