Trying to Stay Warm

We are under a Hard Freeze Warning for the next 3 evenings with lows in the low 20s. Already at 4:30 we have hit 32F not getting out of the 30s today. Wind chills are in the single digits. The highs tomorrow will get in the low 40s. Right now I am trying to work up courage to step out long enough to feed the feral cats. Now on the local News they re showing the annual "Polar Bear" dip where people run out into the gulf of Mexico and back which the ater temp today is 30 degrees warmer than the air temp and just watching them is making me shiver (something I would never do). Guess I better bundle up and go feed these cats before it gets dark.

Those poor cats must really appreciate the food you give them. They must be hard pushed to find somewhere warm to stay.

We have the garage door opened just enough so they and blankets on the floor so they can get out of the extreme cold. at least they are keeping the mouse population down.

I'd rather have that temp here then what we are getting. At night it's gone down to 3 degrees and Friday's high is going to be 0. I want summer back!
