I will bring my Xmas decorations down on 7th January a day after Epiphany on which day the 3 kings visited the crib. I have loads of work. The dead fig tree that I decorated has lights and tinsel garlands way up. Then there are decorations inside the house mostly blue balloons and silver and blue tinsel garlands. The crib also has to be brought down. The balloons will be kept for Preiti to play. It is interesting to watch her play.

I like to have mine down by New Years Eve. It's the only tradition I've ever known.

I'll probably take mine off before the weekend. I still have the lights on in the tree. I also have a star in the front of the house and one behind with some colored lights that I leave on in the night. I'll take them off this weekend too.

I like your idea of having something at the back of your house too which is neglected by many

@allknowing since I stay in an apartment on the 5th floor, people who walk around the apartment complex can still see it.

We didn't decorate the house with Christmas decorations. They are all packed in the boxes. Since we are planning to move out this year.

You mean you did not decorate your tree this time or is that an artificial tree where you have pulled down the decorations but you have yet to fold in that tree?

Thanks. I had placed 'diyas' to be lit by those seniors from an old age who came over to enjoy the party I had organised for them. That was beautiful watching them do it.
