Good morning world! Ever say that at the start of the day?

This discussion just came to me as I am typing at my computer! Happy New year by the way! I like to check in with my diary or journal each day and the first words out of my mouth this morning were, "Good morning world!" It sounds like I am entering a programming command or something! Do you ever utter the same? When there is no one to talk to do you talk to the air? I know, this discussion is becoming more absurd by the second! Anyway, it was just a thought. What are your thoughts?

Happy New Year, Andrew! I think it's a good habit to say good morning. I don't usually say that. I like writing my journal in the evening. I used to have a morning journal but I have stopped writing on it because I'm usually in a hurry in the morning or just too lazy.

And it's a happy new year to you too. Yes, mornings are a little difficult for me too well, the boiling of my two eggs get in the way, I have to have those each morning like clockwork! My journal gives me great comfort though and I am sure this is the same for many people. All the best.

@AndrewFreyne I've always kept a journal since the day I learned how to write.

Morning. Yes, I like to utter to myself at times although believe me I am sane! Mostly I just speak to my journal and write my thoughts.

Well, that's a good one. It's always nice to wake up in the mornings after having had a decent night's sleep. Yes, I like to offer a deep internal thanks to the world as I begin my day.

Hey there, Andrew! What a nice way to start the day! You know, you say GOOD MORNING WORLD and I'm sure that most of the people around don't even say good morning to their partners in the morning. I, for one, am not the type of person that wakes up in a bad mood. Waking up sometimes is hard, but it's always pleasant to feel the morning sun and the idea of having another day to go is just fascinating. I don't say GOOD MORNING WORLD, but I do say good morning to my wife! And to whomever I meet. Have a nice time!

Hi there. Yes, that does make me feel good when I begin the day like that. It is true that so many people wake with a kind of negative mood and this really doesn't help anyone. You sound very cheerful though going into the day and that is great. All the best to you.
