Have you ever heard the FAMOUS poem, "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner?" Or another poem entitled "Kubla Khan?" They were written by a man named Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772-1834), a well-known English poet and critic. However, there was another man, whose name was Samuel Coleridge-Taylor (1875-1912) who was also a famous Englishman. He was the first black man to gain fame as a musical composer. Don't get them mixed up.
