Jan #2 U.S.States: Alaska

I wrote a few things about Alaska in December but I found a couple more things I'd like to share. One thing is the state motto which I did not remember. It's "North to the Future". Did you know it? The other thing is the state bird. It's the Willow Ptarmigan. I tried to find a photo of that bird, but wasn't able to find one to share. Maybe a more savvy mylotter can post a photo of that bird.
