Now is the Time For the 25th Amendment!!

Tonight Donald Trump crossed the line and proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he's absolutely unfit to serve as "President of the United States". Hillary Clinton pretty much predicted it during one of the debates last year. She was right, Donald just might have set things in motion for a nuclear war WITH A TWEET. He has to go, it's not just "liberal" Democrats saying so, it's many Republicans and former Republicans, people with years of experience in intelligence and the military. Impeachment will take too long even if it were started tomorrow morning. He's too stupid and narcissistic to resign. We couldn't be so lucky for him to drop dead before he gets the rest of us killed... 25th Amendment NOW!!

I think this is a classic case of "wagging the dog". Trump thinks this will distract from the Russian investigation and maybe save him from impeachment. Then again, if we all get nuked he can't get impeached, right? I think he just might be delusional enough to not realize that even he and his family would get pulverized if we were nuked.

If it were up to the average Americans it would have been done long ago. The Republicans with the power to literally save the world have no interest in doing so.

@BearArtistLady Did you know he actually said when he pardoned that CROOK Joe Arpaio that since he did it while the hurricane was going on that would mean bigger ratings? He can't appear with a foreign leader without AGAIN bragging about his election "victory". If he were to be assassinated I'd certainly shed no tears for him but I'd be disgusted because to his supporters it would somehow make him a martyr. God, they'd be building monuments to the idiot!

Like I keep saying, too many Americans are glued to the TV, you Tube, or whatever. If something is done about the president the brainless repetitive form of entertainment will be interrupted by continuing reports about the president. If he is shot and survives it will be endless drivel from the press, reporters, doctors, experts, law enforcement, and tons more including the president himself. If he's killed it's even more time used in much the same way, accomplishing nothing. We so Ned a LEADER who will access the situation and start working through the mess from the homeless and jobless to the lack of countries that want to trade with us. He, or she, needs to do this without the enormous "See me, look at me" ego that has him wanting people looking at him constantly. We, as a country, need someone who will get into office, roll up their sleeves and get to work. We need old values brought back, and pride in workmanship rekindled. We need to remember how to get along with others and how horrible war is. We, as a country, need a leader who doesn't have his head firmly planted up his...posterior.

@dlr297 If you're talking about the polls before the election, actually the national polls were right on. Unfortunately for us and the world they didn't have the Electoral vote right because state by state polls are hard to read.

I laughed when i first read this some time ago. In all honesty, this is the only kind of talk that dictators like kim understand. Im not worried, congress has to approve war. Trump still would need thier approval to strike first in any capacity.

No, Congress doesn't have to approve a nuclear first strike. The POTUS is the only person who can give that order and nobody can stop him if he gives it. Seriously, you find this to be a laughing matter? I'm having a major meltdown along with most of the rest of the world and you LAUGHED about it? Please give me one reason to think Trump is one bit better than Kim. If he could be a dictator he would, he thinks he has absolute power over the Justice Department and that it's the Attorney General's duty to "protect" HIM. Who the hell is going to protect US from Trump???

@anniepa - i laughed because its so playgroundish. trump is better than kim in one reason? well, for one- kim has met someone who aint backing down. actually, the POTUS has power over the justice department. he chose the attorney general, he can fire the attorney general, all congress does is approve of his choice for cabinet positions.

@Plethos I'm sorry but Kim is an evil, insane, horrible little man but the same could be said for Trump, except for the part about being "little". In Trump's case "little" would apply only to his hands, his brain and probably some other things that we can't see... Nuclear war is nothing to be "playgroundish" about. Trump isn't fit to be in the position he's in. You're right, the POTUS does get to choose the AG and can fire him or her but once sworn in the AG has control over there Justice Department and certainly isn't responsible for "protecting" the POTUS or required to be "loyal".

It would be unlikely the Republican dominated congress will use the 25th amendment to declare Trump unfit for the office. Mike Pence replacing Trump is no improvement either. Both Trump and Kim obviously have feelings of inadequacy regarding their "package".

@anniepa _Since no "sane and decent person" IS serving in Trump's cabinet but only flunkies kowtowing to his every whims, It would be up to the American electorate to deny him a second term of office and that's still 3 years ahead. They have already started the campaign to discredit the Mueller investigation. I won't be surprise if he is dismissed from his job by Trump. The US is on the road to Fascism but most Americans are unaware.

@josie_ OMG, did you happen to see it when he had all of his cabinet members one by one sing his praises? It was cringe-worthy for sure and made me throw up in my mouth a little. I agree that the US is on the road to Fascism if we don't stop it quickly and while I'm not sure I'd agree that "most' Americans are unaware I'm sure the remaining Trumpsters have no clue because they don't know what Fascism is or anything about our history or our Constitution. IF our country and the human race survives for three years I'm fairly confident Trump could never win in a legitimate election BUT he and his administration are doing absolutely nothing to prevent the Russians from tampering in our elections again so all bets are off. I'm trying to pin my hopes on the Democrats getting the majority in the House and Senate in the midterms and impeaching the whole gang.

@anniepa _"Facism" in the States is called "American nationalism". Trump always talk about "America first" and "make America great again". Similar "patriotic" slogans Hitler and Mussolini were using in WWII as well as today's dictators and demagogues around the world. In 1972 when president Marcos declared martial law in the Philippines and dismantle the democratic system in our country, He use the slogan, "This nation can be great again". See any similarities with Trump's slogan?
