Getting paid to do nothing

I went to Google to search ways to get paid for doing things such as writing, apps, and other things and "getting paid to do nothing" popped up and there was actually links to it. It isn't really a big deal but it's late so of course my mind started thinking, you can't really get paid doing nothing because one you're always doing something and two, you took the time to look up how to get paid doing nothing so you actually did something in order to get paid for doing "nothing". My whole point to this is that there are many misleading things in life and it's very easy to follow them and end up falling flat on your face. We have to be careful what we focus all our time and effort on so that in the end we don't end up coming out of it with nothing more than pure disappointment. Some things are simple in life but I believe everything takes at the least a little bit of time and effort. A popular band wrote a song and there's a line that i really like and i find it motivating to keep going even if you struggle. The line says, "Don't take the free ride in your own life." Now I realize that not everyone can go out and get a job, I myself am disabled. But I don't believe that's what the song is saying. I believe it's saying, believe in yourself enough to go after what you want. I also believe we should trust fully in God and I believe the most important work we can ever do is his work.
