Who in the world is John Harrington? (1561-1612) He is the person that made the modern toilet popular. He may even have invented it. In fact, toilets are called Johns in his honor. But I read that some persons call their toilet a Jim instead of a John. That way, they can say that they go to the Jim every morning. (Gym)

Interesting. Thank goodness for the guy who invented the toilet and toilet paper. It has really helped keep society cleaner and more sanitary.
