Hello once again from the land of snow, ice and extremely cold temperatures. On a positive note the sun is shining and it is the weekend. I had a pretty good sleep until my kitty decided that he needed some attention at 5:30 am. I did mange to fall back to sleep though and get a bit more sleep.
My only plan for today is to take down some of my Christmas decorations and maybe find a good movie to watch. I don't have any plans of going out in the cold today but that could change.
How is / was your first Saturday of the new year?

I finished assembling the quilt too...that was my goal...to finish this week. Then laundry and a quick trip to the library and the grocery store. I've been working on hand quilting another quilt top that was assembled last year. I'm hoping to have it finished before the move.
It's cold here as well. -22C this morning with a wind chill of -30C. I can't wait for summer!

You have been really busy plus packing. I know I am so ready for the summer too. Once you get all settled into your new place maybe one day this summer we will go for a drive and visit you guys.

For me Saturday is the day to take rest from routine work and complete some tasks related to my home.
