Adulting is hard. How are you coping with it?

Doing laundry and cleaning d house, sucks. Paying the rent, taxes, sucks. Having a job with responsibilities, sucks. Having a hard time scheduling to go out with friends because of conflicting schedules, sucks. These are all of the things done by an adult. When did you feel that way? And how were you able to cope with it?

Been living on my own since I graduated. Got used to it. Just a matter of budgeting time and money. I only spend my money on needs so I won't have problems paying my bills. As to chores, I live alone so cleaning my place, laundry, washing dishes, etc. are easy to do & maintain. I love my 2 jobs. Living alone and paying my own bills are easier for me than staying with my parents with all those freebies. I love this feeling of independence.

The only adult thing that made my life complicated were the problems. Problems with relationship, problems with work. But doing the laundry, cleaning the house...I have not done those.

haha that's true! I feel it hard when I am tired and sick and no one is here to take incharge of my stuff.

@jvincent_129 That's true but in my situation that I have now ( away from family) I used to take care of myself and take incharge of everything I need whether I am fine or I am sick.

Hi! I feel you. I do not usually like adulting but there was a time when I had to. My husband got sick during the Christmas break and I had to do all the household chores that he usually do. I work as a full-time teacher so he is in charge of the household chores just in case you are wondering. Anyway, I had to wash the laundry, cook our food, clean the house, while taking care of him because he was sick. In the end, it actually feels great and fulfilling especially when I know that I did a great job and I helped our family members.

Hopefully, you will grow into the role. Adults behaving forever like adolescents are embarrassing.
