I have read and heard how dogs save lives, so tell me how do cats save lives? / myLot

If anyone has a special story to share here how their cat saved a life I would love to read it. I am sorry I do not have stories where my cats have saved my life. I have saved theirs.

There are two stories I know so far about cats doing the saving. One, is a cat named tara who save his young owner from a insane dog who tried to strangle the kid's leg. They knew her just a normal cat but a bully towards her dog siblings

Another one is a cat who came into the couple's lives but one thing he's different from other cats, he stood up against two alligators. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5sAF8gMN9c0

Maybe cats save lives by killing rats before they can spread bubonic plague or other rat borne diseases.

i had a russian blue that could tell when someone was going to have a seizure. at the time one of my other cats and my mom both were having them,and he'd run to get me and meow his head off before it happened.

I don't have any personal stories but have read stories of cats saving their kittens from fires. I hope you get some beautiful cat hero stories!

I do not have any special ones for my cats. I have saved them both but so far my Sophie I think does not appreciate what I did for her. She is back to her biting stage.

A cat i once had saved her own life by adopting me at the shelter when i just went to take a look. Thats not how its supposed to work, but she didnt care.

@Hannihar Yes, I saw a video on the news how a neighbor's dog tried to sneak up and attack a boy in his yard. Before he reached the boy, their cat came flying to the dog and attacked so hard that the dog went running. I loved that cat, because that was just so awesome to see.
