It's that wonderful time of year (Not really)

My son got sick last week. Not sick enough to take to the hospital but definitely sick enough that he needed to stay in bed for a few days to get plenty of rest. We kept him hydrated. We kept an eye on his blood glucose levels since he is diabetic. A few high sugar readings but not high enough to rush him to the emergency room. His target is 100 and his highest reading was 165. One day of puking and pooping. One day of fever and chills. So more than likely he had the flu. Anyway, other than a cough and some phlegm he is getting better. If he sounds particularly wheezy with his phlegm at night, he takes a treatment from the nebulizer to open up his breathing airways better. Well, it seems that whatever he had has kicked my butt this week because I've been sick since the weekend. Not coughing everywhere sick, but definitely sick. I dragged myself in to work Saturday and Sunday and made sure to wash my hands repetitively and kept gloves on whenever handling food (and money so of course I kept changing gloves too). Today however seems like the fever and chills day of whatever This is because I feel like I've been run over, dragged through hot water on a humid day and I'm all sticky and wet. Ugh. I'm going back to sleep. I may call out first. I am supposed to work tonight.
