In the terrible time of mudslides in Montecito California that have claimed 15 lives in the Santa Barbara County area.
Despite the tragic events in the area, there have been stories of heroism when the U S Coast Guard rescued a family of seven that included two dogs, a newborn, two children and their parents who waited 45 minutes on top of a roof in their home.
One neighbor reported the news that a two year old child was stuck underneath the mud from the mudslides but the child will survive the tragic event that have hit the area severely due to the rains in the region..
