Demons. We all face them.

We all battle demons. Some are worse than others. It all depends on the power of our own minds. As you all are aware I am unemployed. Just typing that out makes me grind my teeth. I am a mother and wife to be, I cannot just be sitting at home. I need to be out making money and providing for my family. It kills me to see us run out of things left and right. Normally I would go out and buy more. Now I can't. Now we have to budget. Now we have to go without certain things. So anyway not to rant and complain. But staying at home all day everyday is eating me up! Occasionally I will go visit some family or friends just to get out of the house. But the rest of the time at home, with my beautiful daughter. It is great being with her. This also a time of healing and self improvement. This is also a time where I face my demons. Oh how badly do i want to call my ex employer and go off. I cant help but feel so angry towards her. How are you gonna let somone go a few days away from christmas? With no explanation. You told me the day before how good i was doing. The struggle not to go off on anyone because I'm angry at myself. The struggle not to be negative. I have been sober for over a year. Oh the struggle not to walk down the street to the liquor store. Or to start smoking again. We all have our demons. Its best to do anything you can to get away from them. I started reading the bible. I'm not religious but it helps. I start reading positive quotes. I sit and admire my daughter. I join her and play. I get back on the computer and start applying for more jobs. What are some struggles and demons you face?

Each day presents its challenges to each of us, whether we like them or not. Mine has been dealing with having my house burn down with everything I own in it. With having my fur babies that trusted me killed in the fire, having my car burned to its axles in the fire, all my business supplies destroyed in the same fire, and dealing with all the mental issues caused by the fire. I've been trying to find fun and positive programs on TV. Its hard when the person I'm staying with (my boyfriend) likes programs like Gunsmoke and other westerns where there is plenty of killings and sadness. Enjoy the time you get to have with your daughter. Not only is it bringing you joy but it's also creating wonderful memories for her. If I were you I would contact my exboss and find out why I was let go and if I could depend on her for a good reference. After all you do have a daughter to support. I wish there was more I could do to help you. I've been in your shoes myself. You're in my thoughts, my heart, and my prayers!

I happen to have demons on my own, but I'm glad I started going back to church to pray for guidance and help.

It honestly helps to pray. Even if you are not an active church going christian. Sometimes we need to reach out to god for guidance.
