Back To Freezing Temps With A Touch Of Snow

After having warm temperatures this week, the Weather Fairy decided to play a game of Back To Freezing Temps With A Touch Of Snow! I'll tell you what! It is no fun trying to get into a car that has doors all the way around that are frozen shut. I had to use a kitchen table knife to slide in between the top of the door and the rubber seal to break it free from the ice that accumulated there. Then I had to have the window defroster run for about 7 minutes to make it easier to clear the snow and ice from the windshield. The driver door was solidly frozen shut and I had to get into the car on the passenger side. After I got the windows clear enough to see through while driving, I went to Rural King. The reason I went to Rural King was to purchase a folding table of some kind so that I can have it for the sewing area that I'm setting up in my front room. After I bought it, I asked the cashier if I could have someone to help me finagle it into the front seat of the car because the back doors were still frozen shut. It was sure easier for the fella from the store to get it into the front seat than it would have been for me. After a few more short stops on the way home, I was glad to get back in to take all the layers that I wear in freezing cold temps OFF!! I hate bundling up like that!
