So I was really feeling depressed all day because I got the disappointing email that I didn't get the job I interviewed for. Rarely do I not get the job after the interview. And this is the second one in a row that I didn't get. So I was certain I wouldn't get the job at this other place I interviewed because that was the hardest interview I ever had. Well this afternoon I got an email. I had to read it twice because I couldn't believe it. The recruiter said she would like to make a formal offer of employment and will send me the details of the offer next week! I have never worked so hard for a job. It took 4 application attempts, a hard test, 2 interviews that were an hr and a half each, and an extensive background check. I will NEVER EVER take this job for granted. Finally a career in which I want to pursue. Might I add, the starting pay is twice as much as I have ever made! So day 9. I am happy to finally have a job!
