Today's big plans

Yesterday was a work day, I usually only do 3.5 hours but because of the flu/walking pneumonia pandemic I got to work 6 hours at the shop. It wouldn't have been so bad except I wore the wrong shoes. I had found a pair of tennie's under a pile of shoes and couldn't remember why I didn't wear them. After 6 hours on my feet I found out "WHY". After 30 minutes my back was screaming. By 3 hours my feet were really comp!aiming. At the end of 6 hours I think the only part of me that didn't hurt was a little spot on the end of my left earlobe. I'm paying for my working yesterday today. My legs feel like they're on fire. My hips feel like they were kicked by a drunken camel doing the mamba while dressed in a tutu and a football Jersey. My back feels like it got rolled up in one of those automatic garage doors that roll up all nice and neat. The shoes are getting cleaned and donated to one of the thrift shops, preferably one that's a long ways out of town so I don't buy the shoes again. So, to help soothe my poor throbbing body, I am going to have an easy day. I'm going to sit on the couch with a hot cup of tea (and maybe cocoa) and work on bears. After taking a pain pill. My boss was grumbling that I hadn't brought in any new bears for awhile and the customers who collect bears were complaining that I needed to get some newer faces in the shop. So, off t getting bears done. And maybe doing some tie dying if it clears up outside today. I tie dye the white pearl cotton that I use to embroider the bear's nose and mouth on. I use all colors, usually a lot of black, but it's a lot of fun to use thread that has several colors in it at the same time. I suppose I should quit complaining and grab a bite to eat, feed Petey, and get busy. Maybe a little work will help the pain ease off. What are you going to do for fun today?
