I saw a guy in baggy cut-offs last week. Some people just have no sense.

I don't know. I do know that the tires on "mountain bikes" are extra knobby, so, maybe.

@BarBaraPrz I know for off road and on road with mountain bikes there are different tires so I’m guessing there probably is ones designed with snow in mind.

I haven't seen anyone on bikes yet this winter. But as you know being a neighbor to me its been a nasty winter. I go to the YMCA and a lot of people ride their bikes there but so far I haven't seen any in the snow in Grimsby.

Yes, it's been nasty, and it isn't over yet. *Sigh*

Maybe he freezes all the germs out by being in the cold all the time. It is good we take notice those around us, though, so if they need help we can get it for them. Maybe he has "snow tires"

He always travels at the same, steady pace, fair weather or foul. He's never in a hurry.

My bicycle stays at home during winter because I have not the courage of your rasta-type man, the first 10 mn in the cold are a too unpleasant experience. There are indeed winter tires for bicycles to run on snow and ice, he would probably not go far with normal road tires.

Yeah, I wouldn't try it either.

I haven't been on a bike for about sixty years, so I'll take Coral's link at its face value and accept they make tires that keep bicycles safe in snow. You just won't find me on one of them. I prefer my own two feet when i'm outside.
