Wolf! Wolf! Is This Going to Become a Regular Occurrence?

Yo! I don't know what's going on! But it wasn't funny when that person accidentally pushed the wrong button in Hawaii. I'm in Texas and it scared me! OK. OK! I'm calm. They said it was a mistake and they said they fixed it so it won't happen again. Only a few days have passed since that incident and now Japan sends a false alarm against North Korea. Oh come on!! Is this any way to start World War 3? With confusion and misunderstanding and accidental "threats"? It almost looks like someone keeps crying "Wolf! WOLF!" as if a test. Just checking if people are on the alert. I said it "looks likes" it! I didn't say IT IS. But it still makes me angry.
The Japanese mistake came just days after thousands in Hawaii received mobile alerts on their phones that a missile would soon be impacting the state.

You know all those movies we see about what the earth looks like after a nuclear disaster? We'll all be living with Mad Max beyond the thunder dome. No really. After that incident at Chernobyl and that wasn't even war, I imagine all kinds of scenarios.

I have enough problems in my own life without anyone stepping on my last nerve. I don't pay attention to news anymore as it can give me a panic attack.

For a while I also did a "news black out" in my life. The news was going to set me crazy! Now that I work on the Internet, news headlines sort of pop up! You try to ignore them, but sometimes that headline really grabs your attention!

What's interesting about the Hawaii snafu is that they had a monthly "air raid" test when I was stationed there, which was a result of the 1941 attack. I was stationed there in 1983-84.

The Hawaii snafu was not only interesting but it totally baffled me. I'm shocked that a simple control, like requiring more than one person to push a button, was not already in place.

I didn't hear about Japan's error. You wouldn't want to threaten North Korea too often even by mistake. That guy is a loose cannon if ever there was one.

The fear of this man is real. The people in the western countries are not too sure about his mental stability. Hey! There's even a question mark as to whether or not he killed his own brother. We already know he killed one of his uncles. That's his family! What might he do to people not related, who are miles and miles away, but he perceives them as his enemy and a threat to his country?

I know 2018 is already moving right along and not waiting for anybody, but I'm still thanking the Lord that we survived the 1st year of the Trump administration.

If it were me, my feelings would frightened, then relief and NOW? Wondering what about the next time. Will it be real? What do I do? Who do I believe? Where do I go? (???) I know it was a mistake but the damage to the psyche has already been done.

It's scary nowadays that world wars can start in just a push of button.Saudi Arabia is constantly bombarded with missiles from Yemen but thanks to technology that they are intercepting it before it hits the their target.I'm afraid though, that world war 3 can start anytime soon.
