Did you ever cut some of your family off?

I know that family is always supposed to stick toghether but family should always treat you like family. All of my life I had to deal with a certain family member harrasing others and being a bully to other siblings. Its very annoying when family tells me to forgive the person when they never apologized for their wrongdoing. I am always called evil for not wanting to be around a family member. The family member is one of my siblings that I dont claim. I will never let anybody mistreat me ever in life. Now that I am older I realized that family isnt always family. I dont feel bad for not liking my family member. There is no redeeming qualities at all which makes it worse.

I dont talk to him because he is a very hard person to get along with. He is really evil.

Maybe you misunderstood each other. Try to talk to him alone and tell him what is running in your mind.

It is sort of hard to cut family out as all of my family on both sides of my parents live in Colorado as well. But I find myself only talking to a select few because most do not care about their family which is sad.
I cannot blame you for not wanting to accept one of your family members. Just because they are family does not mean they can treat you however they want.
