Some words have more than one meaning. Here's an example. SPIT. It's what some persons have in their mouth and proceed to spit it out of their mouth. Yuk! However, it can also mean a narrow point of land or shoal that projects out into a body of water. In can also mean a part of a grill on which a piece of meat is roasted over a fire. The English language can be complicated, that's for sure.

Odd how words can be spelled the same yet have totally differing meanings.
