That Was Fun, Now Back to Reality

Since moving to Texas I have been so home sick and missing my kids. This last weekend my daughter decided to fly in with my grand daughter from Colorado and spend the weekend with me. It was so much fun and while she was here I got to spend time with my little twin grandsons who live in Dallas. We hadn't yet opened Christmas gifts with them so got to sit down and do that. So much fun was had by all and so much laughter and love in this new house. I didn't want it to end but everyone had to go back home and now its quiet once again. I really needed that little pick me up though having a bunch of my little ones here all at the same time and seeing my daughter again. Wish it could have been longer but I know she will come back when she gets a chance. Now just cleaning everything back up and waiting for the next visit, I hope its as much fun as this one was.

@LadyDuck I will always cherish my time with them. This time my daughter hid stars all over my house, I am still finding them. She finds this amusing lol

I hope your daughter and grand daughter's visit got rid of your homesickness. You also have twin grandsons living in Texas and is the distant of their house far from yours?

My little grand sons are only about an hour away but I don't get to see them much as their mom works. My daughter is 13 hrs away from me as is the rest of my family so won't get to see them often.

My heart is breaking for you, I know what it is like to be away from the family. When we winter down here in Florida we are away for three months and it breaks my heart and no amount of face time can make up for being together in person.
